Reading for Štěpánka and Hynek

Hello everybody,

today Gabi wanted to read a book for her best friend Štěpánka and for her love Hynek.

The first book, The Lion and the Mouse is about a friendship between the Lion and the Mouse and this book says that even little friends can be good friends.

The second book, it’s called Thank You, Mr Panda is about giving presents for our friends and it says that doesn´t matter what present you give to somebody but it’s the thought that counts.

I hope you will enjoy the books with us.

Have a nice day

Monika

Jazykovy mentoring

I would like to introduce this great mentoring program of Lydia Machova, who inspired me a lot on my language journey.

Once I participated oh Lydias webinar and I won her language course where I can gain all the information about learning languages.

I used all these information also in learning with my daughters, which I have mentioned to Lydia once. After we made little interview about it.

I want to share it 💙📖

Our first International Art Exhibition

We wanted to use English in real action, so we were participating in an international KidsART exhibition organized by “Conejo_Arts”, 15.7.2020, Brno, Czech Republic.

There were participating 7 kids from all the different countries in the world and Gabi participated also! Kids could introduce their art work in English to all visitors there.

When it was Gabriela’s turn, she was really shy, so I tried to help her introduce herself and her art. After first picture she found the courage and she introduced other 5 pictures by herself, without my helping. I was really so proud.

This white and purple pic, that is Gabi showing, its called Skaters. As you can see, she was proudly introduced by herself. My friend Magda standing behind me can not believe her ears :o)

So proud mother!

Maria Montessori for Anetka

Today’s telling story is for our great teacher Anetka Hřavová.

The book is about Maria Montessori, who decided to be a doctor. She was the first woman in Italy to go to medical school. She worked with children who had learning disabilities. Maria proved that all children could become their own teachers, if they were given engaging activities and freedom to explore.

Maria transformed the education system, the legacy of her work continues today in Montessori schools around the world.
